Today in class we took notes on the slide show and then we answered questions in the book. Today in class we answered question for the next unit and then we would get asked a random question and If you got it right the grade would go into are grade.   #1 lord - in federal Europe, a person who controlled land and could therefore grant estates to vassals. fief- what you call a lord, or landowner,  that granted land. vassal- The person receiving a fid is called that. knight- Were mounted horseman who pledgees to defend their lords land in exchange for fiefs. Serf- people who could not lawfully leave the place they were born. manor- the lords estate. Today in class we went over the test. I got a 52% at first but turns out there was a question I got right on the test so now my grade on the test is a 56%.  So that moved my grade up 1%.  after you told us about that we went over the test question and all of the right answers because a lot of people did bad on the test.  After the test yesterday we had to take notes on the next section and answers then questions at the end which were... Germanic Kingdoms Of Western Europe  the germanic barbarians -barbarian war loads and their families who assimilated into roman culture became the "nobles" -germanic tribes who ruled former roman land sought to conquer and assimilate other barbarian people who lived beyond the frontiers and were still pagans. Today in class we took notes. Conversion of Constantine (AD 312). - Roman emperor Constantine has a vision before battle at Milvian bridge. -Sees an image in the sky of a cross and words in this sign, conquer. -Orders troops to put a cross on shields(win). -Edict of Milan in AD 313. - Christianity becomes a religion which is recognized. continues to gain power. -By 380, become official religion.
