Forst we talked about toast fertility rate (TFR).   TFR is the average # of children born per woman for a population to remain the same, The TFR must be 2.1.  Higher than 2.1 population os rising.  If it is lower than 2.1 the population is falling.  The worlds TFR is 2.42.  The US population is 32,625,791
(July 2017). Next we talked about the IMR in the US, and where do we rank?  WE are 5.8 deaths and we are ranked 169.  Then we talked about the percentage of catholics in Mexico Canada and US.
Mexico's has 82.7% / Canada has 38.8% / US has 20.8%.   Next question was what country has the largest population in Africa?  The answer was Nigeria with 190 million.  Then we talked about the obesity rate in France, Japan, and the US.  France had 21.6% / Us had 36.2% / Japan had 4.3%.  Then we talked about the GDP per capita of China, US, and Norway.  US has $15,400 / China has $57,4000 / and Norway had $69,200.  Also the unemployment rate in the US  is 4.9%.
Today we talked the population pyramids.  The population pyramids are used to analyze growth (or decline) of fertility, mortality, and migration in cites.  The 3 basic shapes were  the Christmas tree, the box, and the cup.
The Christmas tree:  Developing nation, growth rates are short.
The box:  Developed nation, slow growth and low infant mortality.
The cup:  Developed nation: negative growth and low infant rate.
