Industry~  Making a lot if money, having jobs, economy is good. Countries that just now start there industry are slowly increasing life expectancy.  rural living VS urban living~  Changed during the industry revolution bc the factors were in the city so they had to move.

Today in class all we did was go over the test and after that we just talked for like 10 mins.  Turns out only five people in our class did a loan of $25.  But we still had more then the other classes.  The other class only had two people in it who donated $25.  I let a girl in our class us my computer after that because she needed to redue the test.  That is all we did today

Kiva essay

Kiva is an international nonprofit company that was started in 2005.  Their goal is to help with poverty and give people better future. The way it works is someone in need of money asks for a loan and if the loan is approved to kiva for lenders to support.  Eventually the borrower will pay the loan.  Then the lender can either keep the money or lead it to someone else.  The efficient of Kiva is high because they have a 97.1% loan repayment rate.  They are rated 4 stars on Charity Navigator.  The reputation of Kiva is good because 1.7 million people from 84 countries have contributed.  One person I would lend $25 to is Alejandro.  He need a loan to provides maintenance for his olive tree crops so he can have a better harvest.  The area in Peru that he is from is a poor area and having a good olive crop would help him support his family.  My next person I would loan $25 to is Edita Sebastian.  she needs help to by the correct food to fed her cows to increase there cheese production.  She

Today in class we just talked about extra credit.  I am going to do my extra credit when I go to Florida tomorrow when I get there because it is the only day I don't have anything to do.  After that we got to look at different people that needed only and then see what one you want to donate $25 to.  I wanted To donate to  someone in Peru because I am Greek and Peruvian but I only saw like 3 people in Greece that wanted money and I didn't like any of the reasons so I went to Peru and I saw a couple I like so I think I am gonna do that one.

Today in class we took a test.  The first part took 15 minutes and you had to answer 15 questions using CIA website.  Next part was like 3 pages long and you just had to do thing with population pyramids and fill in blanks plus write about pull and push forces.  After that we got to write our blog which is what I am doing right now in class.  I think I did pretty good on it.  This is my worst class right now with grades bc I just go my other 2 up so I hope that mean my grade will go up if I did good.

Today in class I presented.  I was the last person to present which I don't like but I still think I did really good and I am waiting for the grades to go in for class.  I right now am falling which is really really bad so I need to get that up.  I know we have a test Monday so I am gonna study really hard and try and get a 100 so I will at least have high D or low C.  But I have a test in biology and I have a 74% so I need to get a really good grade so that will go up to a B and in algebra he finally just gave me the make up work so that will defiantly get me back to a B before midterms. Other then those three class all of my grades are good and I am hoping that they stay that way.

Today in class I got to take the redo for the pop quiz last week because I was not there Friday.  After that we presented.  It was so funny and most of the people who presented messed up there project.  For the rest of the class people just presented.  I did not go today so I am going to go tomorrow and I am going to try and go first.  I think only like 3 other groups did not go.

Today in class we had 4 groups present.  I was absent Friday so I did not know we have to have to present because I checked the wrong thing.  One group forgot to send it to you so they all got zeros but I felt bad.  Other then that the other groups were good but I am just really stressed out about making a project tonight plus soccer.  I am good at presenting and it doesn't scare me and I like are class so I think it will be fun.  I just don't like that I have to do it by myself and everyone has a group.  I am probably going to go for the B instead of the A because i feel like It is going to be a lot of talking for one person if I do the A and one group did the B project and it seemed really easy.  I am gonna start on my project during my free and hopefully get very far.

Today in class we had a fire drill.  That took up a lot of time but after that we took a pop quiz.  You would read the question and give us 10 seconds to answer the question.  I think I got a 70% which is pretty bad but it could be worse.  After the we went over the answers to the question and after that  class was over.

Today in class we did not take a lot of notes.  All we did was talk about the Christmas tree, cup, and box of the population pyramids.  First you showed us about a couple countries of your choice and you would tell us why they looked like that and the types of things there.  Like if there was a lot of 20-25 year olds it was usually because there was a college place there or good jobs.  Sometimes there would be a bunch of old people because it was a nice place to go to relax and retire.  Also there was sometimes when there were a bunch of young people being born and barley anyone else and that was because in some of the country they were developing and most of the people don't live that long or the new borns pass away because the heath care is not go.  After that you would gives us the Christmas tree, box, or cup and we had to come up with the country that we think was like that.
